Saturday night we celebrated Garr's graduation, and being accepted into the United States Marine Corps. It consisted of Mr. Sanford telling us about how he was blessed to have a son like Garrison, and the men of the church giving Garr a charge and prayed for him. Afterwards it was a time of food, fun, dancing, pictures and goodbyes. We look forward to seeing him once he gets back from bootcamp (when he's home for ten days). It's really a mixed feelings situation, I'm so happy that he got the job he had been wanting, but of course sad that a "big brother" is away for so long. It's so cool that he is going to be graduating so close to his birthday! God clearly has shown that this is what He wants Garrison to do and we are all proud to call him our friend.

Just thought I say howdy, I just finished another semester of college, and it was a tough one. It is too bad your friend will be moving out, I know what that is like, though none of my friends that moved ever moved back, and none were going into the Marine Corp. Anyhow, I hope y'all can make it down soon, it has been awhile, and if you were to come down, you could stop by the East up in Dallas. And maybe we could meet y'all up there for a church reunion or something. Anyhow, I don't have a blog of my own, but I saw the link to yours on Robert's and decided to come by. Over and Out...

like fun us all getting together with the Easts. Congrats on finishing another semester of collage. My dad said you are studying to be a nuclear physicist or something of the sort? Wow, I commend you. You always did enjoy math greatly. Well, It's getting late and I have work tomorrow. Hope to see y'all soon!
